Double Denim, ahh.. a trend from the 90’s, however, so many modish people think wearing a Denim on Denim outfit is a bit too much or a big NO NO, but for me, if you wore them correctly, it can look amazing!
Start out by matching different wash and colour of denims together, for example, pairing a light washed blue denim jacket or a chambray shirt with a darker colored denim short/jeans like dark blue, grey or black.
You can also add some other type of clothing with a different fabric & color aside from the denim outfit you wanted to wear. Like from the photo above, I’m wearing a nude top from Fashion Infinity Rhona underneath my denim jacket from Splatt MNL for a nice touch-up to the ensemble and you can top it all off with an amazing pair of heels for a glamorous look or a pair of sneakers for a full casual look.
By that being said, those are the basics when incorporating denim to denim clothes. You can now rock double denim outfits!❤
Ps, what are your thoughts about denim on denim trend, yay or nay? I would also love to know how you wear them too!😊 let me know by leaving a comment below. Thank you!💘
Summer is officially on and we can definitely feel the excruciating heat here in Pinas. However, I wouldn’t let that stop us from going out of the city and enjoy the beach for a bit with my family, friends and loved ones.
Yes! We had our first outing for this year’s summer with my mom (yep, she came back from work and would only be staying here for a month), this could also mean one other thing.. Say Hello to my first ever Travel blog post! Banzaaai! Banzaaai! (okay, Chloee, chill..)
Anyhow, since we don’t want to go too far from metro manila but still wanted a perfect place to enjoy our vacay, we’ve decided to go to Lobo, Batangas, and since, my Aunt has a friend living in Batangas, we don’t need to look for a resort to stay up with. Hehehe. However, there are plenty of beach resorts that has great accommodations and has complete amenities and facilities to choose from, as well as, a lot of water activities awaiting for you.
Anyhow, what I love most about Batangas is its range of options. It is riched with variety of pristine beaches, fine sand, caves and amazing rock formations. The most exciting part is, it was only 2 to 3 hours drive from manila! Perfect for a wonderful weekend getaway, isn’t it?
To end this post, I would just like to say how happy I am to finally had my first travel story to share with you guys and hoping to have more in the future.😄 Oh btw, make sure to use sunblock lotion before exposing yourself to Mr. Sun to avoid sunburn. Its better to be safe than sorry guys. Yun lang. Hope you’re enjoying your summer vacation, have a blast! Xoxo
For me, Valentine’s Day isn’t just for lovers, it is also a holiday to celebrate the love that we feel for our family and friends who made our lives always at its best.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a girlfriend/boyfriend. We have our parents, sibling and/or our friends to go out with. It is the perfect time to show your love and appreciation to them for making a huge impact in your life. ‘Cause they’re there, through thick and thin, ups and downs, they’re always there for us no matter what.
But, there’s no denying that Valentine’s Day is also a perfect excuse for me to dress up and feel fabulous, with or without a date.
You may throw on any dress that you love, in my case, I chose to wear a formfitting dress since the weather at the location that we’ve decided to go to was a bit windy, top it off with a denim jacket from Splatt.mnl to stay warm through out the day and good thing, I chose to wear sneakers since our little adventure consisted a lot of walking. hehe.

It has only been 3 months when I finally decided to start on blogging. As a newbie blogger, I always wanted to plan things first before shooting and getting all those plans done exactly the way I planned them (quite OC, right?) but recently, I have come to realize, that sometimes it is better to let go of that “perfect plan” of yours and just be ready to be surprised with an unexpected things that will make you happier than you originally planned (trust me).
Top: Must Have Piece x Clothing
Skirt: Bread n Butter
Heels: Zanea shoes
And no matter how much we planned, the things that did happened before was the reality that was really meant to happen in the first place.
Lately, God has been teaching me to trust Him with His plans. One good example, is when we took this outfit photos. I was supposed to shoot on a different location, but something came up and we ended up at a place in Alabang. The photos weren’t what I had in mind but.. They’re even better! From the location and the lighting (we we’re just on time!) Everything’s just perfect 😄
I now learned how to let go, give my best, trust and allow God to take care of the rest – because that’s when everything will turns out perfectly better than you expected it to be.
Last week marked the start of the new month, November! Can you believe it? Halloween has passed and now we’re fast approaching the end of the year, it just means that the festive season will soon be upon us. So before this year ends, I promised myself to try on something a bit different from what I usually wear.
Since I’ve been very inclined to wearing streetstyle/boyish outfits (view my previous posts for a bit of corroboration haha) before and can’t even remember when was the last time I wore a girly outfit, I finally managed to wear one yesterday! 😁
Necklace: Forever21 | Dress: thrift store | Shoes: El Dantés | Bag: Belladonna
This gorgeous dress is so feminine and has a vintage vibe in it. In love with the prints, specially those gold florals that perfectly shines above the other floral prints. 💛 Needless to say, this dress would be perfect for any casual gatherings, semi-formals and even in the summer! You just have to know how to match them with the other items to build that concept you have.
I teamed this look with my favorite Oxfords from El Dantés and my lovely coffee brown Belladonna bag to make the ensemble looks chic and a bit more retro. Completed the look by wearing this beautiful layered necklace that I bought from Forever21.
Lately, I don’t know why but I always find myself buying more black clothes. Well, maybe it’s because I love the fact that I can still play around with it, knowing you’ll never have the trouble of mixing and matching clothes ’cause almost everything goes with black! 🙌 From pairing it to neutral colors, pastels to bright colors, still it could help you create modern and polished looks.
the awkward crossed arms pose haha!
Black really is a great color for me, it could make your outfit looks amazing, elegant and chic.
Here’s another fun fact, wearing black makes you look thinner than you usually are, so that’s a definite win-win for me since I do have a chubby stomach to hide or atleast make it less visible. Haha.
Here in this look, I matched my black highwaisted jeans that I recently bought from hazels_shoppe to a pastel pink ribbed shirt from Jukaykayatbp and paired it with my overused black converse with strawberry prints in it. To spice up the ensemble, I wore a bit of accessories and tied up my hair in a bun for a more interesting and dramatic look. And Ta-daah!

PS Hoping that everyone’s enjoying their halloween season! hasta la vista lovelies!
Plaid shirt: Dickies
Shorts: thrift shop
The weather has been pretty crumby lately, but I wouldn’t let that stop me from wearing this 90’s inspired look today.🙌
So like the usual 90’s look, I wore a plaid shirt (currently obsessed with these) from Dickies. Paired it up with my black and white halter top that I bought at Jukaykayatbp and loose denim high rise shorts that I bought at a thrift store years ago and of course, finished it off with my favorite white converse shoes.
